Japan’s ultra-popular Rilakkuma Café, a Rilakkuma-themed coffee shop, opened this summer at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi’s Zhonggang branch in Taichung. The store not only features a Taichung-exclusive theme design but also offers super-cute limited-edition menu items that Rilakkuma fans definitely shouldn’t miss.

Taiwan’s first Rilakkuma Café opened in October 2015 in Taipei’s Eastern District and has remained hugely popular ever since. Its healing interior decor and high-quality meals ensure every customer leaves with a smile on their face, helping the café carve out a niche in the highly competitive Eastern District dining scene. Now, the second branch sets up in Taichung’s Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, where Rilakkuma is ready to meet everyone in its ultra-cute form.
