To welcome the Year of the Dog, many businesses have launched dog-themed products. Leading fast food chains and coffee shops are all promoting new dog-inspired items. Recently, Shiba Inu-shaped desserts have also become viral photo spots and trendy treats. Following the previously popular Shiba Inu soy sauce dumplings, there is now a Shiba Inu-shaped strawberry tart with an ultra-cute appearance that’s attracting lots of attention and becoming a widely shared dessert online.

This "Le Sucré Pâtisserie," a French patisserie in Tainan originally established as a dessert studio in Taichung, has expanded to its founder’s hometown of Tainan. Nestled in a quiet alleyway, the shop may be small, but it is decorated with dried flowers and other elements that give it a distinct hipster vibe. With the arrival of strawberry season and the Year of the Dog, Le Sucré Pâtisserie has launched a brand-new "Wangchai Matcha Strawberry Tart," combining fresh strawberries from Dahua with matcha and packaging them in ultra-cute hand-drawn dachshund macaron designs—so adorable you might not want to eat them.

Later, due to the popularity of the Shiba Inu-shaped strawberry tart, Sugar Gray French Pastry added another creative touch by launching "Haha," the adorable companion to Wangchai. The cute Siberian Husky design quickly captured public attention. Made with fresh strawberries, Belgian dark chocolate, and hazelnut jam, the lifelike and charming Husky-shaped exterior is also irresistibly tempting.
