The top five of the world’s 25 biggest theme parks are all located in Asia

Theme parks are often the top choice for fun, offering a wide range of unique themes and thrilling rides where both kids and adults can enjoy special moments of joy. According to foreign media reports analyzing attendance figures from major theme parks around the world in 2015, the top 25 most popular theme parks were selected, with Japan’s beloved Disneyland and Universal Studios also ranking in the top five. Disney theme parks alone took up 10 spots on the list, along with many other well-known Asian parks.
 
1. United States – Walt Disney World in Florida

In 2015, Walt Disney World in Florida welcomed over 20 million visitors, making it a must-visit theme park for many travelers. Having held the top spot for several years, the park continues to bring dreams and joy to its guests. The castle in the park is modeled after the one from the cartoon Cinderella.
 
2. United States – Disneyland in California

Located just a 20-minute drive from downtown Los Angeles, Disneyland in California is perfect for family trips. The park features numerous Disney characters and movie scenes, with its most iconic attraction being the large castle from the Sleeping Beauty cartoon.
 
3. Japan – Tokyo Disneyland

As the first Disney park in Asia, Tokyo Disneyland is divided into seven themed areas and attracts over 10 million visitors each year. Its iconic castle is also inspired by Cinderella, but stands 5 feet taller than the one in Florida.
 
4. Japan – Universal Studios Japan in Osaka

Universal Studios Japan is one of the world’s four major Universal theme parks. Its unique Harry Potter Wizarding World is a must-do attraction for every visitor, featuring a full-scale recreation of Hogwarts Castle within the park.
