8-meter spinning water slide at Zhikaxuan Water Park in Hualien — free to play

Hualien’s Zhikaxuan Green Forest Water Park opens on July 1. In addition to water slides, large water chutes, lazy rivers, water guns, and rainbow fountains, this year it has added an 8-meter-tall spinning water slide and a surf pool. The park offers free entry during the summer vacation period, and visitors are welcome to come and experience the thrill of high-speed fun.

The water park is about a 10-minute drive from downtown Hualien. Originally an air force base in Hualien, it was later developed into a forest park with a variety of water-based facilities. It combines elements of nature, ecological education, and leisure, allowing both adults and children to enjoy a cool summer in the park.

To ensure public safety, the Hualien County Government has arranged for all lifeguards to participate in training sessions and drills, and has tested the safety of each facility to guarantee the safety of all visitors. Visitors engaging in water activities must also follow the instructions of lifeguards in order to fully enjoy the fun of playing in the water.
