The UK’s largest theme park, Alton Towers, opened its brand-new virtual reality space roller coaster in April 2016. Riders sit on the roller coaster and wear VR goggles to experience the amazing sensation of traveling through space, with some parts even reaching 3.5G of acceleration to simulate the feeling of a rocket launch.
