Although Hong Kong isn’t Taiwanese travelers’ favorite destination, last year saw over 2 million visits from Taiwan. Aside from shopping, food is another major highlight. Based on a survey conducted by Yahoo Hong Kong Travel among Taiwanese visitors, here are the Top 20 most beloved Hong Kong dishes. Topping the list is Tim Ho Wan, which has 7 branches in Taipei. In second place is Yung Kee Roast Goose, followed by Lan Fong Yuen in third.

The top 20 also includes well-known must-visit restaurants in Hong Kong such as Hui Lau Shan, Tsui Wah Restaurant, Australia Dairy Company, Kau Kee Beef Brisket, Lin Heung Tea House, and Yi Shun Milk Company. Among them, Australia Dairy Company and Lin Heung Tea House are both on the list of the 30 most Instagrammed restaurants in Hong Kong. As for the No.1 Tim Ho Wan, it already has 7 branches in Taiwan, with plans to open its next location in Hsinchu. How many of these 20 have you tried?
