Taoyuan Airport's five-star VIP lounge is the world's first to be free to use

Taoyuan Airport has pioneered a free VIP lounge, with trial operations starting separately in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Each offers over 100 seats for outbound travelers to rest and wait for their flights, providing sofa seating areas, USB charging stations, Wi-Fi, a baby care room, VIP rooms, shower cubicles, and other free facilities. The VIP rooms and shower cubicles are limited in number and require advance registration at the counter. Shower towels and body wash cost NT$500 per set, but they can be used for free if you bring your own. Terminal 2’s VIP lounge also offers paid dining services.
