Viewing cherry blossoms at草坪头 in Xinyi Township will now require an admission fee starting this year—50 NTD per person.

Around 30–40% of the cherry blossoms at草坪头 in Xinyi Township have already bloomed. Starting in 2018 during the cherry blossom season, an admission fee of 50 NTD per person will be charged for park entry. Ticket sales are available daily from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with tickets purchased on weekdays at the entrance gate of Yu Shan Sightseeing Tea Farm, and on holidays at the Aiyu Bridge Parking Lot.

This is the first time an admission fee has been implemented for the草坪头 cherry blossom season. The general public will be charged 50 NTD for entry. Free entry is granted to volunteers holding a Volunteer Service Honor Card, individuals with disabilities along with one accompanying person, preschool children, those conducting official business with valid documentation, residents of Xinyi Township, and employees of the Forestry Bureau, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan (Taiwan University Forest).
