MatchaOne, the new brand from the beloved matcha spot Heiankyo Chashi, brings a stylish fusion of Japanese and Western modernity

Many matcha lovers' favorite "Heiankyo Chashi" has established a new brand, "Matcha One," which opened on July 16. The shop is located in the Yongkang commercial district and has launched an opening event, attracting the attention and discussion of matcha fans.

Located near Taipei’s Taiwan Power Building, Heiankyo Chashi has been operating since 2014. Its team has now created a new matcha brand, combining high-quality matcha, a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, and an urban fashion vibe. The interior design follows a minimalist style, with a touch of Tokyo’s modern city feel.

The matcha latte emphasizes the use of premium Uji matcha powder from Kyoto, delivering a rich tea aroma without bitterness. The smooth and silky milk foam is rich yet mild, with low sweetness highlighting a simple and authentic taste. The matcha is also served in a traditional black Raku tea bowl as a unique feature.
