Scoot and Tigerair, the low-cost carriers expected to officially merge this year, today welcomed their 50 millionth passenger at Singapore Changi Airport. The Scoot Team and CEO of Scoot Tigerair Holdings, Lee Lik Hsin, personally rolled out a custom yellow carpet to greet the traveler, who was about to fly with Scoot to Taiwan. On-site, they presented the passenger with round-trip Scoot tickets, five economy class upgrades to Scoot Business Class vouchers, 50 hours of in-flight Wi-Fi, in-flight red and white wine vouchers, a Scoot blanket and sleep kit, as well as the original novel "Fifty Shades of Grey" — voted online by millions of Scoot fans as the grand prizes, humorously showcasing the heartfelt gratitude of the Scoot Team.
