The American “Forbes Travel Guide” has selected three top-tier hotel outdoor pools, all of which offer beautiful views of Taipei—day or night.

1. Grand Hyatt Taipei

Rated four stars by the Forbes Travel Guide, the Grand Hyatt Taipei is just steps away from Taipei 101 and the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. The heated pool on the 5th floor is an oasis amid the hustle and bustle, nestled within a lush, green garden that shields you from the city traffic. Lounge leisurely on comfortable sunbeds or sofas and enjoy a relaxing moment.

2. Les Suites Taipei Chiang Kai-shek

Also located in the Xinyi District, Les Suites Taipei Chiang Kai-shek features a pool on the 7th floor, open from April to November each year. From here, you can take in the full view of Taipei 101, and especially at night, the vibrant lights of Taipei. Though there is no dedicated kids’ pool, the shallow depth of just 1.2 meters ensures a safe environment for children to swim.
