This summer’s legendary extravaganza is here—Universal Studios Japan × ONE PIECE Weekly Shōnen Jump

Universal Studios Japan is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a lineup of “over-the-top” entertainment under the theme “RE-BOOOOOOOORN (Reborn in a Big Way)! Come on, let’s party and be reborn!” A series of fun-filled attractions for all ages will be launched, including the highly anticipated “UNIVERSAL JUMP SUMMER” in collaboration with Weekly Shōnen Jump (Shueisha), the Minions’ chaotic “Water Festival” ‘WATER RE-BOOOOOOOORN Party,’ and ‘Minions COOL TIME!’—a variety of summer events packed with “over-the-top” elements to deliver an exciting season!

Universal Studios Japan has always offered diverse themed attractions, and this time it’s joining forces with the world-famous manga magazine “Weekly Shōnen Jump” (Shueisha) in an ultimate collaboration to launch ‘UNIVERSAL JUMP SUMMER’—transforming the most iconic shōnen manga into high-quality entertainment experiences. Iconic and multi-generational hit titles such as “Dragon Ball,” “Death Note,” and “ONE PIECE” (海贼王) will come together.

Additionally, there will be exhibitions featuring popular works from “Weekly Shōnen Jump,” showcasing valuable original manuscripts by the authors, design materials, optical illusion art, and legendary titles from past generations.

Meanwhile, the park’s ‘WATER RE-BOOOOOOOORN Party’ will feature the beloved cartoon character “Minions”! Unlike previous years, the water volume at this year’s party will be torrential like a waterfall. Both adults and kids can engage in a thrilling water battle using water guns to fight back against the huge jets fired from the cannon platforms, getting soaked together with the Minions. A dedicated “Kids Zone” is also set up in the park, allowing families to enjoy the ultimate “RE-BOOOOOOOORN” experience even in the sweltering summer heat.
