Taiwan's Tigerair launches the Taoyuan-Hakodate route, becoming the first budget airline to fly into Hakodate and also the first Taiwanese budget airline to serve Hokkaido. Currently, Tigerair Taiwan has a total of 9 Japanese destinations and 11 round-trip routes serving passengers from both Taipei and Kaohsiung, completing its comprehensive air network plan across Japan from south to north.

Hakodate is one of Hokkaido’s popular tourist destinations, offering unique historical landmarks, premium hot springs, distinctive cuisine, and a variety of festivals—all brimming with endless charm. Tigerair Taiwan’s Taoyuan-Hakodate route initially operates...fiveflights per week. Outbound flights depart from Taoyuan Airport at 05:25 every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Return flights depart from Hakodate Airport in Hokkaido at 11:00 every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
