The Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli area has long been a hub for renowned Hakka teas, and the Tongluo Tea Factory, located near the Tongke Bridge in Miaoli County, is one of its representatives. Officially launched last July, it joins other tourist tea factories under Taiwan Agricultural Products Marketing Corporation, such as the Riyue Old Tea Factory and Daxi Old Tea Factory.Positioned as the latest tourist tea factory developed by Taiwan Agricultural Products Marketing Corporation, it is a multifunctional leisure complex. In addition to self-production and sales, the site offers guided experiences such as tea-making culture tours and DIY tea-picking activitiesfor visitors, blending education with entertainment to integrate tea culture into daily life rather than leaving it as mere textbook material.

To challenge the notion that tea tasting is only for the elderly, the factory has attracted a new generation of young people and related cultural industries. The resulting synergy has infused fresh energy into this traditional tea factory, transforming tea drinking into a fashionable lifestyle.

The overall muted color scheme of the factory, when combined with sunlight streaming through large floor-to-ceiling windows and the surrounding aroma of tea, evokes a deep sense of happiness.

One of the must-photo spots in the factory area is the “tea wall,” where neatly arranged tea tins form a harmonious display that perfectly showcases local premium teas — a highly photogenic feature. Beyond the eye-catching wall design, the “infinity pool” is another highlight. Paired with the surrounding tea field scenery and the view of verdant mountains in the distance, it offers a truly relaxing experience.

There is also a "Tongluo Tea Factory Bus Stop" on the corridor of Tongluo Tea Factory, located between Tongluo and Sanyi train stations. Although you can no longer board trains here, you can witness northbound and southbound trains crossing paths from the viewing platform. The park has also thoughtfully displayed the train schedule for railway enthusiasts to reference.

The tea factory offers free tea tasting daily. Visitors who enjoy it can purchase tea, and guided tours are available at 11:00 and 14:00. There are also five free film screenings throughout the day.
