The New Society Flower Sea Festival bursts into a riot of colorful blooms

To celebrate the 11th edition of the "New Society Flower Sea," this year's flower sea exhibition area adopts a "peacock-shaped" theme, combining it with six exciting themed pavilions. The total planting area of the "New Society Flower Sea" spans nearly 50 hectares, with the flower sea landscape area covering approximately 30 hectares, presenting an ecologically rich and spectacularly dazzling landform.

This year’s flower sea design breaks from tradition, using individual fields as units and featuring a brand-new visual concept centered around the shape of a peacock. In the main exhibition area, there is a three-dimensional floral decoration inspired by the peacock’s head, an installation art piece called the "Eye of the Earth," and a New Society Flower Sea flower wall evoking the imagery of peacock feathers. The 22-hectare flower sea landscape area showcases the peacock’s vibrant and colorful plumage through large-scale sowing of cosmos, rapeseed, and zinnias, complemented by themed pavilions.

This year’s event takes the peacock as its central theme. In the "Main Exhibition Area," the peacock’s head is crafted into a three-dimensional floral installation, while its body feathers spread out across the 22-hectare "Flower Sea Landscape Area" made up of cosmos, rapeseed, and zinnias. Themed pavilions are interspersed throughout, creating a grand spectacle that extends from the pavilions to the flower sea. Additionally, a "Refined Flower Area" is planned, showcasing intricate and colorful patterns through geometric designs.

The six themed pavilions are: Agri-Tourism Taichung Pavilion, Bear Loves Forest Pavilion, Rural Harvest Pavilion, Health Guardians Pavilion, Agricultural Technology Shines – Grafted and Ripe Pavilion, and Youthful Taro Pavilion.

Themed Attire: Floral Field Wedding

On-site Registration: On the day of the event, participants dressed in/wearing items related to a "wedding" (such as suits, formal wear, veils, flower girls, etc.), take photos and upload them to Facebook with a check-in at New Society Flower Sea to receive a beautiful gift.

Online Registration: Starting November 5, 2015, register via the official website to join the picnic event. Participation is open for groups of two or more.
