Taiwan’s longest New Year’s Eve fireworks: E-DA’s 999-second dreamy 3D display

As 2017 approaches, E-DA World — the only place in Kaohsiung to host a New Year’s Eve fireworks show for two consecutive years — will this year present a 999-second fireworks spectacular, longer than last year’s 888-second display. In addition, the New Year’s Eve event hosted by Dream Mall is expected to draw crowds from across Taiwan.

Themed “2017 Purple Glory E-DA – Love E-DA Together, Dreamy 3D Fireworks Show,” this year’s fireworks feature 60-meter-high 3D columns and specially use eco-friendly 3D cold-light fireworks, emphasizing both a three-dimensional effect and environmental sustainability. To complement the New Year’s Eve celebration, the resort’s hotels have launched various dining and accommodation packages, inviting everyone to ring in the New Year in Kaohsiung.
