Recent air pollution has been severe, especially in central and southern Taiwan. According to the Environmental Protection Administration's Air Quality Monitoring Network, on November 15, the PSI across Taiwan and its outlying islands ranged from good to moderate, with suspended particulates as the primary pollutant. Due to poor dispersion conditions, PM2.5 levels in central and southern regions were moderate to high, while other areas saw low to moderate levels. On November 16 and 17, the PSI across Taiwan remained in the good to moderate range, with suspended particulates as the main pollutant. Central and southern areas again faced moderate to high PM2.5 levels due to unfavorable dispersion, while other regions had low to moderate readings. When going out, consider wearing a mask or avoiding outdoor activities to minimize exposure to air pollution.
