Christmas Tree Ferris Wheel Dreamland Launches Purple Wishes for the Holiday Season

The illuminated decorations at Kaohsiung’s Dream Mall, combined with the Ferris wheel, create an especially romantic scene and have become a popular photo spot for many visitors. This year’s highlight is a purple Christmas tree symbolizing blessings. Themed “Romantic Happiness Lights Up PurpleWish,” the event kicked off with a lighting ceremony starting at 6:00 PM on November 17. Host Dennis announced the event’s commencement and invited guests to join in the lighting. Singer Power Station’s Chen Shih-an performed at 6:30 PM, and the official lighting took place at 7:00 PM. The site also featured a romantic snowfall-like scene, bringing an early taste of the winter holiday spirit to attendees. Live music continued throughout the night, offering a unique and heartwarming experience.

The event site features numerous Parisian-style scenes, including a love lock bridge, a proposal hall, an OPEN wishing pool, and a magical block play area—fun and whimsical spaces for all ages. Visitors can also take the open-top double-decker bus in Kaohsiung to reach Dream Mall and enjoy a scenic tour of the city.
