Hong Kong’s Must-Visit Christmas Hotspot: Harbour City’s Little Snowman Party Spreads Warmth

Harbour City in Hong Kong is a popular spot where locals celebrate Christmas every year with family, couples, and friends. This year, Harbour City adopts the theme “Christmas Together,” continuing the joyful tradition. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the Ocean Terminal, so a special online crowdfunding campaign has been launched to gather Harbour City Christmas memories—everyone is invited to share photos taken at Harbour City across different decades!

This Christmas, Harbour City invites everyone to celebrate the festive season with the “Little Snowman.” From now until January 2, 2017, the Ocean Terminal Open Plaza will transform into the Little Snowman’s Christmas party. The Little Snowman is made up of two large snowballs and features 32 different design patterns, resembling an adorable “tumbler doll”!

In the center of the open plaza stands a giant 12-meter-high Christmas tree made up of various Little Snowmen, along with a large carousel and specially designed Christmas light trees. The entire plaza features over a hundred Little Snowmen in various sizes and designs, each hiding a unique “Snowman Code” ranging from 0 to 31. Visitors can search for their own Snowman Code, take photos with the corresponding Little Snowman, and capture wonderful holiday moments. The Christmas doves beside the Little Snowmen bring blessings from around the world to Harbour City, with different messages tied around each Little Snowman’s neck. Through the “Snowman Code,” you can spread these wishes to your loved ones.
