A Fairytale Wooden House in the Forest – Hsinchu’s Super Popular Forest Hideaway

The Maolushu Exploration Forest is located within an Atayal tribal community, and the vast parkland nurtures a diverse and ever-changing natural ecological environment. It has also been a popular filming location for movies and idol dramas. A decade ago, it gained overnight fame after the idol drama *Green Forest, My Home* led to the construction of the Green Forest Elementary School. Later, it became a filming site for the movie *Seediq Bale*, and this dreamlike forest wonderland has since attracted large crowds of visitors and photographers.
