Geisha coffee, ranked among Forbes’ “World’s Ten Most Expensive Coffees,” is rarely available at Taiwanese Starbucks or City Café outlets due to its limited supply and high price. In a counterintuitive move ahead of the peak holiday gifting season, the coffee chain Oclover is offering a “Buy One Get One Free” promotion on premium Geisha coffee beans and drip bags—including beans from the royal estates of Britain and Japan, Lilydale Estate.

Established six years ago, Oclover Coffee Farm serendipitously gained access to Panama’s famed Geisha coffee, produced by championship-winning estates such as Jensen and Lilydale Estate—repeat winners of the “Best of Panama (B.O.P.),” often dubbed the “Oscars of the coffee world.” Since 2015, Oclover has held an exclusive hold on Taiwan’s Geisha coffee market, giving local consumers the chance to enjoy what Forbes calls one of the “World’s Ten Most Expensive Coffees” at more accessible prices.

Recognizing the steady growth of Taiwan’s coffee beverage market—and its rising popularity as a festive gift option comparable to tea gift sets—Oclover has launched a “Buy One Get One Free” campaign ahead of the gifting season. The promotion covers over 40 varieties of Geisha coffee beans and premium drip bags, plus cupped drinks priced between NT$300 and NT$1,000, all available at wallet-friendly prices.

Notably, this promotion also includes Geisha beans from Lilydale Estate, a royal supplier to both Japan and the UK.

Located near the Barú Volcano in Boquete, Panama, Lilydale Estate benefits from a unique microclimate and uses a patented proprietary washed processing method. Its Geisha coffee is beloved by enthusiasts for its delicate notes of lemon and citrus, sweet hints of lychee, and intense fresh floral aromas.

Due to their scarcity and high cost, they’re unattainable for large chain retailers. By sourcing directly from Panama and scaling up procurement, Oclover makes this coffee—available to less than 0.01% of the world’s population—affordable and accessible to everyday consumers.
