The adorable fun run is coming — Hello Kitty Run 2017 embraces Hello Kitty fans

Hello Kitty Run 2017 will be held in Taipei in March. The venue is the Lutai Music Plaza in New Taipei City. In addition to the basic “3KM Fun Run” and “5KM Joy Run” short-distance categories, the event centers around four major themes: healthy living, interactive experiences, fun activities, and dynamic music, creating a playful wonderland for Kitty fans.

Produced under the supervision of Sanrio Taiwan, the high-quality participant gear is one of the highlights of Hello Kitty Run. The 2017 Taipei event offers a series of Hello Kitty-themed running gear that is both sweet and stylish, helping all participants become trendsetters on the run.
The “3KM Fun Run” and “5KM Joy Run” offer five common essentials, plus unique items exclusive to each distance. The finisher medals are not only commemorative but also double as fashionable accessories — a must-have collectible. After the run, participants can use their medal to enter the Hello Kitty Happy Carnival, featuring a variety of mini games and DIY activities that will keep runners entertained.

Beyond the race, the event features a running experience zone, carnival mini games, and a market. After completing the “5KM Joy Run,” participants can join the highlight of the day — the “Hello Kitty Sweet Joy Party.” As the sun sets to the beat of lively music, famous entertainers, DJs, and Hello Kitty will lead everyone in enjoying music and dance. There’s even a chance to get up close and personal with Hello Kitty for an unforgettable dance. This unique party blends health, sweetness, interaction, and music into a vibrant and sweet-themed celebration, offering a fresh Hello Kitty Run experience.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Sanrio character Cinnamoroll. Hello Kitty has invited Cinnamoroll to join the run and lead the warm-up session. The running route also features a Hello Kitty-themed inflatable obstacle course, delivering a new and dynamic sweet experience for all.
