The giant Gundam at DiverCity will be removed as one of Japan’s top three anime landmarks

One of DiverCity’s famous landmarks, the 1:1 scale real-life Gundam statue standing tall in front of the shopping mall DiverCity, will cease its exhibition on March 5. Additionally, the Gundam FRONT Tokyo exhibition hall on the seventh floor of DiverCity will also close on April 5. The news has saddened many Gundam fans, and the Gundam that has stood tall in DiverCity for five years is about to take its final bow.
