The plum blossoms in Xinyi Township have always been a top choice for plum blossom viewing in Taiwan, and the quality of the plums produced there is also outstanding. With over 800 hectares of plum trees planted across a wide area, the township attracts many flower enthusiasts every year.

Mid-to-late January marks the full bloom period, and the blooming season continues through the Lunar New Year. When visiting Xinyi Township, known as the “Hometown of Plum Blossoms,” don’t miss the three major plum blossom viewing areas: Fenguitou, Wusong, and Niuchongkeng. Zhongliao Township also has farmers’ plum orchards blooming with beautiful blossoms, making it a new hotspot for plum blossom viewing.
