Qigu Salt Mountain is one of Tainan’s famous must-visit attractions. Every year, it features different large-scale installations, challenging the title of Taiwan’s largest artistic landscape and drawing tourism booms. Following the fortune cat and the god of love, this year Qigu Salt Mountain has erected a two-story-tall giant owl mascot atop the salt mountain. In addition to its large eyes, warm color scheme, and round body, the owl is equipped with solar-powered LED dynamic lighting in its eyes. At night, its glowing eyes give it a striking and spirited look. Not only is it incredibly cute, but it also showcases green energy and environmental friendliness, prompting visitors to call it extremely soothing.
