Regent Taipei has invited the popular online dessert shop Little Deer’s Home from Tainan to make a special pop-up appearance in Taipei, bringing its most sought-after and viral item—the “Strawberry Four-Leaf Brie Croissant,” which once set a record of 300 online orders in a single day—to the city. From the 19th to the 31st, it will be available in limited quantities at the hotel’s Secret Garden on the B2 level. Each croissant is priced at NT$160, and if you add a drink under NT$220, you can enjoy a combo price of NT$360.

The Little Deer’s Home Croissant Workshop is run by three young baking enthusiasts who primarily focus on selling flaky croissants and Danish-style breads. The trio, who all have full-time jobs during the week, love using their spare time to create and develop new desserts. Sharing them with friends, they gradually built up a good reputation and gained popularity. Little Deer’s Home does not have a physical store; orders are taken online throughout the week, and the actual breads are sold at the workshop only on Sundays. Fans often rush to buy, clearing out the treats within moments of the shop opening.

The most popular item available in this Taipei Regent pop-up is the fan-favorite “Strawberry Four-Leaf Brie Croissant.” Every ingredient is carefully selected: first, they use specially imported Japanese French-style flour that produces richly aromatic and moist bread. The dough undergoes fermentation and freezing before being blended with finely textured French AOP-certified Bleu de Gex butter, which offers a delicate hint of mulberry flavor. It is then laminated using a four-fold, two-times technique. This lamination process is key to the croissant’s deliciousness, and Little Deer’s insists on doing it at a room temperature of 25°C to achieve perfectly distinct, fluffy layers inside and a golden, crispy crust outside.

Finally, the freshly baked croissant is filled with soft brie cheese made from Hokkaido’s Tokachi region, topped with fresh, in-season strawberries from Taiwan’s Dahu region, and sprinkled with a dusting of powdered sugar. With each bite, you can enjoy the flaky, fragrant layers of the croissant, the sweet-tart strawberries, and the rich creaminess—all wrapped in an attractively sweet and luxurious appearance.

Regent Taipei’s dim sum kitchen has also introduced four delicately designed strawberry-themed desserts to celebrate the pink and sweet strawberry season together. These include: a classic French strawberry mousse cake with an almond sponge base, layered with strawberry jam and buttercream, and finished with fresh strawberries; a strawberry tart with a crisp pastry shell filled with orange-infused custard, topped with fresh strawberries and finished with Chantilly cream; a strawberry cream cake made with a vanilla sponge soaked in raspberry syrup, layered with fresh sliced strawberries and whipped cream; and a soft strawberry cheesecake filled with strawberry bits, decorated with fresh strawberries and blueberries, and encircled with red chocolate pieces—each priced at NT$180.
