A Lazy Guide to “Children’s Day Discounts” at 8 Theme Parks Across Taiwan – Just NT$1 at E-DA World?

Next weekend is the Children’s Day holiday, and businesses are cashing in with a slew of discounts. For instance, E-DA World is offering entry for children under 12 for just NT$1 when accompanied by one adult. Yehliu Ocean World has a “buy one adult, get one child free” deal, while Dapanshan and Aowanda Forest Recreation Area are admitting kids for free from April 1 to 4. More promotional offers from other operators are also on the way. ETtoday EBC has rounded up discounts at six theme parks and forest recreation areas across Taiwan. Why not take the opportunity to bring the whole family out for some fun during the holiday?

1. E-DA Theme Park
▪ During the period from April 1 to 4, children under 12 can enter for just NT$1. Each discounted ticket must be purchased on-site at the ticket booth together with a full-price ticket (NT$899). Please present valid ID upon ticket purchase and park entry; no discount will be given without proper documentation.

E-DA Theme Park is also offering a special weekend on-site ticket discount for Children’s Month. On four consecutive weekends — April 15 & 16, April 22 & 23, and April 29 & 30 — purchase a concession ticket (for children aged 3–12) on-site and receive one free Child Return Ride Coupon, valid until June 30.

▪ 2. Yehliu Ocean World
▪ From April 1 to 5, purchase one full-price ticket (NT$450) and get one child’s ticket for free, saving NT$380. Valid ID or student ID must be presented for the discount, and group tickets are not eligible.

3. Dapanshan Forest Recreation Area
▪ The park is rolling out the “Five-Fold Fun for Kids” campaign. During the April 1–4 holiday, children under 12 or under 140cm tall can enter the forest area for free, saving NT$150. Adults also enjoy 20% off on admission tickets and open-air spa services. Additional perks include free balloon animals for kids and a one-time forest rope climbing experience for just NT$250 (original price: NT$600 per person).

4. Lihpao Land
▪ For the April 1–4 Children’s holiday, Lihpao Land is holding the “TOY LAND – Relive Your Toy Dreams” event, featuring child-rate admission for all at just NT$490, plus a complimentary Dream Playground voucher. Couples can enjoy a Double Starlight Ticket for NT$299 (enter after 5 PM, both people must enter together).

5. Miniature Land Theme Park
▪ During the April 1–4 Children’s Day holiday, children under 12 can enter for just NT$399.

6. Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area
▪ From April 1 to 4, children under 12 can enter the park for free, saving NT$100.

7. Janfusun Fancyworld
▪ During the April 1–4 holiday, if your ID number starts with 1, 2, or 3, you can enter the park for as low as NT$30.

8. Leofoo Village Theme Park
▪ From April 1 to 4, both adults and children can enjoy a unified price of NT$499.
