Roses, herbs, and 200 varieties of succulents can be admired year-round, and the best part? No entrance fee. This enchanting place is the Yawen Herb Plant Factory in Miaoli. Surrounded by blooms and greenery throughout the year, the park features a beautifully landscaped setting akin to a European garden, along with a massive sandbox that sparks everyone's inner child.

Located in Sanyi, Miaoli, the Yawen Herb Plant Factory is designed around roses, herbs, and tens of thousands of succulents. This year, a new sandbox featuring a bear design was added, becoming a dreamy play area for girls and children. With a rich variety of herbs rotated by season, visitors can enjoy different aromatic plants all year round. Flower enthusiasts will also be delighted — blooms can be seen throughout the seasons, with August being particularly vibrant.

The park features an eye-catching flower field, accompanied by a white Dutch windmill. For the past four years, it was planted with purple salvia, which from a distance resembled a vast lavender field, exuding a strong exotic vibe. Last year, it was replanted with roses, offering equally dazzling colors and photo opportunities no matter how you frame the shot.

Aside from free flower viewing, the park also offers a spacious retail area selling cosmetics, skincare products, and other daily necessities. You can also try DIY activities such as making bath bombs and handmade soaps to take home as souvenirs. After exploring and playing, head over to “Herb Hub” in the park for drinks, coffee, light meals, salads, and more.
