Seascape Park Castle Complex Heel Church Pure White New Attraction

Chiayi’s Budai Seascape Park was originally just an ordinary attraction, but ever since the new highlight — the Heel Church — was completed in 2016, it has become a widely talked-about new hotspot across Taiwan. Whether for travel, dating, or taking Instagram-worthy photos, Budai Seascape Park has transformed into the trendiest destination, even making appearances in numerous international news outlets. With the surge in visitor numbers, some locals have begun to complain about the lack of surrounding facilities — to this day, even the restroom is a temporary container structure. As a result, the Yuanshan Management Office has decided to add a marketplace and public restrooms here, designed primarily in the shape of a dreamy castle, which echoes the exterior of the Heel Church. Completion is expected by the end of April, when 12 shops will open, selling local specialty agricultural products and souvenirs. In addition, six pieces of installation art and two pavilions will be arranged in the surrounding area to provide visitors with a more complete travel environment.
