A top choice for many when it comes to enjoying lavender landscapes, Lavender Forest has locations all over Taiwan. However, today (the 24th), its official fan page announced that the Lavender Forest Jianshi store in Hsinchu, due to the expiration of its lease, will cease operations in May, leaving many netizens expressing their disappointment. Lavender Forest also noted that new stores will be opening this year and invited everyone to visit its Xinshe and Mingde locations.

Operated by two young women, Lavender Forest has gained considerable recognition in Taiwan. The lavender season from January to March each year attracts numerous visitors. Lavender Forest has three locations in Taiwan: Jianshi in Hsinchu, Mingde in Miaoli, and Xinshe in Taichung. However, the Jianshi store, which has been in operation for 13 years and boasts beautiful alpine scenery, will officially close on May 22 this year as its lease has expired and the landlord plans to reclaim the site for personal use. This has led many netizens to comment, “What a pity!” and “How could this happen? I’m really sad,” expressing their reluctance to see it go. Lavender Forest also mentioned that new stores will be introduced this year and encouraged everyone to visit its Xinshe and Mingde locations before then.
