Taiwan’s EVA Air Ranked Among the World’s 20 Safest Airlines for the Fourth Time

The renowned aviation evaluation website Airline Ratings announced the world’s safest airlines of 2017 in January, with selection criteria primarily based on records from the entire year of 2016. Taiwan’s EVA Air ranked among the world’s safest airlines for the fourth time due to its outstanding performance, joining the list of the globe’s top safest carriers. 2016 was the safest year in aviation history. Airline Ratings conducted a preliminary screening of airlines based on seven criteria including fleet operation, maintenance standards, and safety records throughout the year, followed by a second round of rigorous evaluation to determine the safest airlines.
