According to The Daily Telegraph, this boutique hotel (Alila Jabal Akhdar) is situated in the mountain range north of Amman, at an altitude of about 2,000 meters. The design is very bold, hidden among the mountains, creating a truly unique atmosphere. Due to the rugged road conditions, the main mode of transportation is via 4WD SUVs, but the mountain scenery along the way will definitely not disappoint travelers—they can catch a glimpse of local orchards and farmland.

Although the hotel itself is very modern, the view from the rooms—majestic mountain ranges and valleys—makes you feel as though you've stepped back in time. Guests can also join guided tours to watch the sunrise, visit local villages, and more. From April to May, there’s even a rose-themed program where guests can learn how to make rose water. The hotel is fully equipped with facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, and spa.
