Located in Taibao City, Chiayi County, the Tabebuia Golden Avenue once became an overnight sensation. During the peak flowering season, tens of thousands of visitors often flock here on holidays, even busier than temple fairs. As the golden tabebuia flowering period draws to a close, the neem tree green tunnel in Liujiao Township, right next to the Golden Avenue, has emerged as a new hidden gem. From March to April, during the neem tree flowering season, rows of tall, neatly interwoven green canopies create a stunning sight. At its peak, the sea of flowers even emits a faint, refreshing fragrance, resembling a fantastical fairy-tale scene — its visual appeal is in no way inferior to that of the golden tabebuia.

In addition to the hidden gem of the Neem Tree Green Tunnel, Liujiao Township in Chiayi County boasts many other scenic spots. The most famous is the over-a-century-old Suantou Sugar Refinery.
