The world’s third-highest observation deck with three Guinness World Records × 360-degree immersive views

With the global wave of Hallyu (Korean Wave), the number of tourists visiting South Korea has been steadily increasing. Recently, a new highlight has been added to Seoul’s tourist attractions — the world’s third-highest observation deck, SEOUL SKY, officially opened on March 22. SEOUL SKY is located on the 117th to 123rd floors of the Lotte World Tower, South Korea’s tallest skyscraper, and was designed with the concept of “the beauty and confidence of Korea.”

SEOUL SKY had already made headlines for being listed in three Guinness World Records. The SKY DECK on the 118th floor is the “world’s highest glass-floor observation deck,” while its high-speed elevator, which travels at speeds of up to 600 meters per minute, holds two records: “world’s longest travel distance for an elevator” and “world’s fastest double-decker elevator.”

Visitors can purchase tickets on the 1st or 2nd basement level of the Lotte World Tower and take the elevator up to SEOUL SKY. From the observation deck, you can enjoy panoramic views of Seoul, and on clear days, even catch glimpses of Songdo in Incheon and the western coastline.
