Michelin-starred cuisine comes to Taiwan: Hong Kong Soy Sauce Chicken Rice from Liao Fan debuts in Taiwan

“Liao Fan Hong Kong Soy Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle” received a Michelin one-star recommendation in October 2016, becoming the world’s first street-food-level dish from Singapore to earn the star. Owner Chan Hon Meng is actively expanding his presence, partnering with Heyi Food Group and setting sights on the foot traffic and foreign tourists at Taipei Main Station. After its launch in Taiwan, the pricing is expected to be around NT$100, an affordable rate for consumers to enjoy star-rated cuisine. A long queue is anticipated after its opening.
