Crater Lake

Crater Lake National Park is the only national park in Oregon. The park’s most famous attraction is Crater Lake, which was formed about 7,000 years ago after the eruption of Mount Mazama, leaving behind this volcanic crater. Today, it is the deepest and bluest lake in the United States.

Mount Hood

With an elevation of 3,429 meters, Mount Hood is the highest peak in Oregon. It is an active volcano, with its last eruption occurring in the 1790s.

Smith Rock is primarily composed of volcanic rock and is a popular destination for rock climbing.
