The owner, Milla, calls “Serradura” the Serradura Cup. It’s made by crushing biscuits into crumbs and layering them with whipped cream. You can taste the interplay of crumbly biscuit bits and smooth cream, with a rich, silky milk aroma—like a “Portuguese-style tiramisu” that lingers deliciously.

There are countless cafés in Taipei, each with its own charm. The Macanese owner Milla married and moved to Taiwan. Because of her love for single-origin coffee, she decided to open her own café. Milla said she doesn’t understand Taiwan’s market trend of focusing on price competition. She firmly believes that only good ingredients can make good products, and customers will naturally return. From selecting coffee beans, roasting, grinding, to brewing—she does it all herself, hoping to attract true coffee aficionados.
