New Nighttime Lighting of Glass Heel Church Unveils a Dazzling Baroque Light Show

Taiwan’s first glass-curtain-wall high heel-shaped church, a popular attraction that has drawn international media attention and earned a Guinness World Record certification, held a new lighting ceremony at 6 PM on March 23. Many netizens witnessed the test lighting and showered it with praise. The Yunlin National Scenic Area Administration (YNSSA) launched the “Cinderella Garden Light Show” to boost nighttime tourism in Budai. They hired a renowned domestic environmental theater lighting designer to integrate architectural lighting of the heel-shaped church, create a Baroque light sculpture, and incorporate over a hundred computer-controlled light effects. This was paired with a specially composed and produced theme music titled “Cinderella Garden,” resulting in a dreamlike ambiance. The lighting event will be open to the public free of charge for 45 consecutive days starting from the 23rd.
