A rare and spectacular desert wonder: vast sand dunes can be found in Taiwan too

In Keavy’s memory, “Gangzi Desert” was always a place full of thrill, where visitors could race across the sand dunes. But this time, her wandering completely changed her perspective—why? Now follow my photographic eye—Let's go～

After leaving Peony Elementary School with its colorful rainbow, we continued our southern journey, encountering many water buffaloes along the way—and wherever there were water buffaloes, cattle egrets (also known as yellow-headed egrets) were often seen too. I love such scenes—they’re both adorable and innocent.

Sometimes, you don’t need too much planning; just having the willingness to go out is enough. Because an unplanned plan is leisurely, yet also full of adventure—it carries a sense of exploration and surprise, which is why the journey becomes so delightful.

This wandering made Keavy fall in love with this place. In her impression, “Gangzi Desert” was always a thrilling spot where people raced across the sand—but unexpectedly, after taking a peaceful stroll on foot here, Keavy’s heart became incredibly calm.
