Due to the southward movement of a cold air mass from the mainland, temperatures will drop noticeably starting Saturday, March 25, to around 14–18°C. Other regions will also trend cooler in the mornings and evenings, with temperatures around 17–20°C. Southern areas will remain warmer, between 20–24°C, with Pingtung potentially reaching up to 27°C. Areas north of Tainan, the Hengchun Peninsula, the eastern part of Taiwan (including Orchid Island and Green Island), as well as the coastal and open areas of Penghu and Kinmen, will experience strong gusts of wind at force 8 to 9, along with higher waves. Visitors to the seaside should exercise caution and bring windproof clothing and accessories. Monday will be generally rain-free across the country, with mostly cloudy skies and some sunshine.
