Spring has arrived and flowers are in full bloom across Taiwan, as the country embraces a peak season for cherry blossom and flower viewing. Along the wall beside Fuke Junior High School in Taichung City, on the side of Xitun Road, a row of pink and tender double-flowered cherry blossoms stands out. Even more special is the presence of several tall and striking golden trumpet trees, whose explosively bright yellow blooms create a stunning contrast with the nearby pink cherry blossoms.
