The "Leaning Tower of Pisa" is a must-visit attraction in Italy. Now, the Pisa city government has announced plans to build a ferris wheel in the parking lot next to the tower to attract more tourists, with the project expected to open this summer.
According to reports from international media, the Leaning Tower of Pisa Ferris Wheel will stand about 50 meters tall, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the tower from a unique perspective. In addition, the ride will offer panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Although some local cultural promotion groups have criticized the ferris wheel as an eyesore next to the iconic tower, this has not stopped the plan for the wheel to begin trial operations this summer.
