The Magical Banyan Avenue in the Wild Fields – A Hidden Fantasy Landscape

Taiwan is rich in natural beauty, with many stunning sights hidden away in rural streets and alleys. Travelers often stumble upon breathtaking wonders, and through social media sharing, these hidden gems can be discovered by more people. A photography enthusiast from Taichung often spends his leisure time exploring Taiwan’s beautiful waterscapes, and recently discovered a fantastical hidden spot in the Waipu area.

Located on a small field path near the Waipu District Sanitation Team, a row of lush and dense banyan trees bursts forth vibrantly. Vast expanses of gleaming yellow leaves gently cover and dot the thick green foliage, creating an incredibly picturesque scene of interwoven colors. Paired with the expansive sky and fields, the view is utterly enchanting. Walking along the Banyan Avenue to the Kuotzut dike, you can also take in the scenery of the Da’an River. Watching the Banyan Avenue under the glow of the setting sun is truly mesmerizing.

Gazing from Iron Anvil Mountain toward the Da’an River Canyon, the mountains, waters, and banyan trees complement each other, forming a picturesque landscape as beautiful as a painting.
