The fantastical scene from the movie "Kong" is brought to life in Turkey’s Floating Forest Boardwalk Park

Imagine how astonishing it would be to recreate the fantastical action scenes from movies like "King Kong" or "Jurassic World" in real life. New York-based architecture firm DROR is currently working on a project in the Turkish capital — Istanbul, developing an overall plan for Parkorman Park. Given the local residents’ love for nature and green spaces, the firm approached the project from this perspective, showcasing creative spatial design and ingenuity by integrating modern elements into this forest park. One of its most distinctive features is the winding, elevated boardwalk that allows people to “float” and weave through the trees—offering a jogging experience unlike anything on the ground, while being enveloped by the forest’s phytoncides. This project is still under development, and no completion date has been announced yet. If successfully completed, it will not only become a stunning new attraction but also provide residents with a comfortable, natural environment.
