As spring blooms, cascading wisteria flowers drape from overhead trellises, creating a romantic and breathtaking sea of purple that is an unmissable sight for flower enthusiasts. From now until April 23rd, Taipei Flower Village is hosting its “Purple Craze” festival, during which visitors can enjoy not only the wisteria and other floral displays but also live music performances and various shopping discounts.

From now until April 23rd, Taipei Flower Village is hosting its “Purple Craze” festival, during which visitors can enjoy not only the wisteria and other floral displays but also live music performances and various shopping discounts.

During the wisteria season, shops in the flower village offer special “Purple Craze” discounts. Customers wearing purple tops can enjoy a 10% discount when shopping at Hua Ting Horticulture, Jun Lin Flower Shop, Wan Xiang Horticulture Specialty Store, and You She Art Workshop. Children wearing purple tops get a NT$50 discount on entry to the Puffy Bear Inflatable Park. Additional discounts are also available at weekend stalls in the plaza.

At 2:30 PM on April 8th, a free-entry music concert will be held on the stage at Wan Xiang Plaza in Taipei Flower Village. The concert will feature special performances by children from Descartes Music and Arts Academy, and the public is welcome to join in the romantic wisteria festivities.
