Taiwan’s version of Meguro River’s floral boulevard: Dreamy white neem blossoms make a stunning debut

March and April are the peak blooming seasons for neem flowers, which emit a fragrant aroma. These trees are excellent for landscaping, as street trees, and are suitable for afforestation along coastal areas. In addition to the longest neem flower tunnel in Taiwan, located along the embankment road of the Puzi River in Liujiao Township, Chiayi, the Longyang Bridge between Huancheng Road and Section 3 of Huanchung Road in Taichung City also boasts a vibrant display of blooming neem flowers. The white neem trees along Longyang Bridge are neatly and lushly planted on both sides of the stream, draping the dense green tree-lined avenue with a delicate layer of snow-like blossoms. It’s reminiscent of Tokyo’s famous cherry blossom spot, Meguro River—except this is the white-flower neem version—creating a truly delightful sight.
