Taiwan’s first-ever container Starbucks debuts with eco-friendly appeal and eye-catching design

Starbucks is set to unveil another new attraction — an open space outside the Hualien Huilan Bay Happy Farm often hosts container markets, and the most prominent addition lately is a container Starbucks. On-site, several pure white containers are stacked and interlocked, with one featuring the Starbucks logo. The construction is still underway.

In fact, there is already a container Starbucks in Seattle, USA. This one-of-a-kind global concept store repurposes four large containers that once transported Starbucks coffee beans and tea leaves. Thanks to the designers’ ingenuity, the structure not only meets low-carbon footprint standards but also boasts a uniquely distinctive appearance.
In addition to being built to green building standards, the Seattle container Starbucks is also designed as an eco-friendly drive-thru coffee shop. But now, you don’t have to fly to the U.S. to see one — the container Starbucks under construction in Hualien not only features even larger containers but will also include a drive-thru lane design.
