Every April, "April snow" begins to fall across Taiwan. The fringe flowers look like romantic snowballs from afar, while up close, their slender, torn petals resemble the tassels on ancient noblewomen’s garments, hence also known as "snow flowers." Located at the Shimen Reservoir Administration Bureau in Taoyuan, the vast expanse of lush green lawns is perfect for picnics and family outings. When April arrives, an ordinary-looking grove suddenly becomes the star attraction, with its open tree canopies covered in pristine white, creating a graceful and enchanting scene.
