Previously, while hanging out with a friend of a friend, I heard them recommend a great spot for tea and conversation with an amazing view — it's "Cloud Fairyland Leisure Tribe" located on Xiaogang Mountain.

Entry to Cloud Fairyland is by ticket — adults pay NT$200 and children pay NT$100. The entry ticket can be used toward drinks or tea-brewing utensils and equipment.

They only offer drinks or tea-brewing utensils and equipment, not tea leaves (which you need to bring yourself), nor do they provide any food options. Fortunately, our friend’s friend had reminded us, so we came prepared with sunflower seeds, dried cod fish floss, and some cookies to go with our drinks.

After choosing our seats, we couldn’t help but wander around — the views from Cloud Fairyland are truly stunning. You can clearly see Agongdian Reservoir and Dagang Mountain, while to the south you can gaze at the distant Kaohsiung 85 Sky Tower and urban area, and to the north even as far as Tainan City. As we were marveling at the scenery, the staff also mentioned that on really clear days, you might even spot Yushan (Jade Mountain)!

But although we visited on an overcast day with occasional light drizzle, Keavy actually loved the moody weather. The blazing sun was playing hide-and-seek, the rain cooled down the surroundings, and there was a more romantic atmosphere — it really felt like being in a fairyland. No wonder it’s called Cloud Fairyland~
