As a representative venue managed by the Taipei City Government’s Department of Cultural Affairs, the Lin Yutang Residence has planned the “Chance Encounter with Letters — Taipei Celebrity Manuscripts Exhibition Rotation Program” during the transition from spring to summer. The program specially invites the Wang Yunwu Foundation, the Li Kuo-ting Residence, the Wisteria House, the Sun Yun-suan Memorial Hall, the Soong Mei-ling Memorial Hall, the Dr. Hu Shih Memorial Hall, and the Lu Xun Memorial Hall to participate, providing a diverse collection of letters and manuscripts contributed by various figures. This enriches the exchange between the written legacy and the architectural spaces, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience different historical narratives and the profound character of individuals. The exhibition allows the residences to present not just static displays but vibrant stories of the people who once lived there.
